Frequently Asked Questions

1. Make sure you have the following information: TAMU NetID and NetID password.
If you do not have or know you NetID, please follow the instructions for setting up a NetID before continuing to Step 2.

2. In the Settings menu, go to Wireless & Networks and tap Wi-Fi [


3. Tap tamulink-wpa from the list of available networks.

4. Most of these settings should be filled in automatically, but if not enter the following information then tap Connect:
a. EAP Method: PEAP
b. Phase 2 Authentication: None
c. CA Certificate: (unspecified)
d. Identity: your NetID
e. Anonymous Identity: Leave this field blank
f. Password: your NetID password


5. If you successfully connected, the word Connected should show up under tamulink-wpa in your networks list.
